This striking building, one of Kingston's landmarks, is the work of English architect William Coverdale, who arrived in Kingston in 1832, and is now a beautifully restored Ontario Inn & Spa.

Historical Inn, 1850 Tuscany villa located in the heart of downtown Kingston, Ontario (Canada). Rooms are appointed with period antiques, ornate castings and arched, leaded windows. All accommodations have private baths, and some feature luxurious 'bubble bath deep' tubs. All rooms have an ensuite bath, high-speed wireless internet, dual-port telephone with message service, ceiling fans, air conditioners, hair dryer, clock radio and CD player. Rooms with gas fireplaces: Coverdale, Rosemount Master Bedroom, Jenny's Room, the Loft and the Edwards Suite. The Tower has an electric fireplace in the upper (3rd floor) reading room. Inn getaway includes such special touches as warm cider or homemade ice tea with freshly made cookies served every afternoon in the Victorian parlour. Our gourmet breakfasts are truly delicious, and each day is a different treat. Tea and refreshments are served in the living room at 4pm.
