About Sidney

The Town of Sidney is located on the Saanich Peninsula, on Vancouver Island, approximately 30 Kilometers north of Victoria, the Capital City of British Columbia. Sidney was incorporated as a village in 1952, has enjoyed steady growth, and is now a town with a population in excess of 11,000 people. It can be reached by air or sea from the mainland and is the main business anchor for the Peninsula.
